Hambleden Tennis Club (HLTC) is situated in the beautiful Hambleden Valley on the borders of Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. HTC is affiliated to the Buckinghamshire Lawn Tennis Association (part of the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) ) and has three hard courts.
HTC is a very active club with around 140 members. We play tennis throughout the year and run a number of teams in both the summer and winter seasons. Ladies', mixed, men's and veterans' teams play in the Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire leagues. Within the club, competitions are organised including club knock-out tournament, mixed doubles American tournaments. We have a flourishing junior section with coaching courses and holiday camps organised by Tennis Angels. New members are always welcome. TENNIS ANGELS - PLAYER OF THE YEAR AWARD.
Tennis Angels are introducing an annual `Player of the Year Award` for the most improved player on their coaching programme at Hambleden. The winner of 2011 award is Diane King. Congratulations to Diane. Read more at News CHAMPAGNE BRUNCH - Monday 29 August. Some 30 members and guests of all ages came along to our annual Champagne Brunch on Bank Holiday Monday. Everyone enjoyed a morning`s social tennis followed by brunch cooked on the barbecue and washed down by champagne. AEGON TEAM TENNIS MATCH - Friday, 20 May Hambleden Aegon 16 & under team played their first match on Friday against Farnham Common. It was a very close game with two long tiebreaks.
